BACHELOR OF ARTS IN JOURNALSIM (B.A. Journalism)

Objectives:
A journalist can be broadly defined as one whose primary occupation is gathering, writing, editing and presenting events occurring in various spheres, be it political, economics the arts and culture or sports to a generic audience in the mass media. The mass media serves a variety of purposes including information, Communication, entertainment, advertisement and opinion building. In this professional there are many areas where one can work in. these are
Reporting, Sub-editing, Editing etc. thus we see that opportunities abound in journalism and if one has enough fire in the belly, one can be a live example to the adage “the pen is mightier than the sword” and structure a fine career for themselves.

Eligibility:
Pass in Pre-Degree /PDC / 10+2 or its equivalent in any group.
